Ever since being able to hold chunky crayons and deface my bedroom walls (to my mum's horror), I have loved to draw.  After studying Applied Arts at the University of Derby and a brief spell working as a designer within the retail industry, I returned back to drawing (though not on walls this time), and to Illustration and happily I haven't looked back.

I really enjoy experimenting with mixed media and I've increasingly been rediscovering my pens, pencils and paints.

Though my work is in the main detailed computer-based vector line, I've been trying to find ways of incorporating my hand drawn work to create something different.  I enjoy drawing and creating intricate patterns and striking compositions with elegant flowing lines.

I work from my home studio in the Peak District, where I'm surrounded by beautiful inspirational countryside and a plentiful supply of tea and biscuits.
